Nuvia Special Works, in partnership with Advitam won in April 2010 and for a period of seven years the market for plant inspections Flamanville, Saint-Alban, Chooz, and Civaux Paluel (12 reactors in total). These inspections are part of basic preventative maintenance (PBMP) of EDF. The missions are crucial to measuring the major challenge posed by the maintenance of facilities for the operator, particularly in view of extending their life.
The entire inspection process is computerized. Inspectors are on the ground the damage - cracking, spalling, traces of moisture or corrosion, etc.. - Directly on the tablet PCs equipped with software developed by ScanPrintTM Advitam. This methodology allows a fast and reliable inspection of many data, and contributes to the efficiency of inspection work, the analysis of defects, with the publication of survey reports and recommendations prepared for the client.
Since 2000, Advitam has developed to the attention of owners of structures and maintenance managers a range of proprietary processes and tools for surveillance and monitoring that can anticipate the need for maintenance and repair of structures. Of these, ScanprintTM is a software and services for the management, inspection and maintenance of heritage.
The module ScanPrint Inspection enables inspectors to identify particular field, directly from their tablet PC, the information on the damage. Organized in a database, inspection data are completed as required by photographic records and then processed (as differences, compared to reference values, comparing the same structures, etc.). To prepare a report synthesis and propose solutions. ScanPrintTM allows to homogenize the field inspections, to maximize the reliability of surveys and earn up to 80% of time on data analysis, reporting and data exchange between users.

4 months after the start of real-time monitoring of the Tancarville Bridge, AdVitam is mobilizing to update and complement the instrumentation of the Normandy Bridge.
In the end, dozens of sensors monitor the movement, vibration, effort, and the temperature of the two structures. The data is returned in real time on a single Web server EverSense ®, located on the deck of Tancarville.
EverSense ® software will enable the CCIH to view, download, analyze data and create automatic alerts on the actual operation of the two structures. |
